Am I the only one who hates the UK binge drinking/going out culture? Why should I be expected to go to a club wearing next to nothing caked in make up, get completely off my face just so some sleazy guy can touch me up? I mean I’m not against drinking or anything, a couple of drinks = a good night (imo) but the fact that going out on the town is now more of a nessesity than an expectation is… stupid. I don’t mind having a drink at a show/gig because I’m there for a reason, to watch a band/engage with their music and have a good time while doing so but getting shit faced at a club… what is the intention there?
